I Wasn't Suppose To Make It-But I Did

I wasn't suppose to make it. Not according to statistics, not according to other people's opinions, and definitely not according to where I came from. Yet Here I am, Not perfect, but standing. Stronger. Wiser. and still growing. Life didn't hand me anything easy-but every scar, mistake, and moment of pain became part of the story I'm proud to tell today.

In the face of adversity, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. I know that feeling well. But I've learned that setbacks aren’t the end — they're part of the journey. In fact, some of the most painful moments in my life became the ones that taught me the most.

Resilience isn’t about having it all together — it’s about getting back up when everything in you wants to give up. It’s choosing hope when you can’t see the way out. It’s learning to bend without breaking, and believing that healing is possible.

Growth doesn’t always look pretty, and it rarely feels comfortable. But the real transformation happens when we’re willing to step outside of what’s familiar — when we face the hard things, the scary things, the unknown. That’s where the strength shows up.

And one thing I’ve come to understand: we don’t have to do it alone. There is so much healing in community — in connecting with people who’ve walked through storms and still found the sun. Sharing our stories, our pain, our victories — that’s where the light breaks through.

So if you’re navigating a hard season right now, I want you to know: you’re not alone. Resilience, growth, and community are not just words — they are lifelines. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep going.

Because at the end of the day, we are not just survivors of our past - we are God's workmanship, hand-crafted with purpose. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we were "created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." You were never meant to settle. You were made for more. So rise up, walk boldly, and live like you're Made for More - because you are.
